• “Our third stay this year. Fabulous as always! Huge bedrooms, beautifully clean, very comfortable mattress, lovely enormous bathrooms. Wonderful drawing room with roaring fire to sit chat and read. Breakfast is superb. This time we opted for sandwiches in the evening as we’d had a big lunch. They were delicious! Wonderful grounds. Quentin and Natasha can’t do enough for you. Simply the best hotel / guest house we have stayed in."

  • “Noyadd Trefawr is a hidden treasure. Tucked away on its own small estate with a lake and bluebell woods, is a home full of immaculate detail. We had the most comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and stylish bathroom.”

    — Alastair, East Sussex, March 2022

  • Tucked away inland in an idyllic spot not too far from the coast, Noyadd Trefawr is a very special place to stay. The setting is stunning and the beautifully presented historic house a gem. With comfortable beds, warm rooms, delicious breakfasts and perfect hosts, we plan to return.

  • “Noyadd Trefawr is a stunning historic house set in large peaceful grounds. Very spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Natasha and Quentin are wonderful hosts who provide a great breakfast (locally sourced organic ingredients). In addition to the above, Noyadd Trefawr is just so well located being only a short drive to Cardigan and a series of wonderful beaches. In fact, is is well located to even explore further afield along the Welsh Coast and mid Wales.

Reviews for The Cottage

  • "The accommodation immediately feels like a home from home and has every amenity you could wish for. I can honestly say I have not slept so well in years under the duvet and beautiful Welsh blanket in the main bedroom. The countryside around, on the doorstep or a few minutes drive away, is stunning, some of the rivers and valleys are otherworldly in their beauty. Only a week stay here and I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of all there is to see and do - partly due to not wanting to get out of the bed in the mornings and then wanting to get back in front of the log fire in the evenings"

  • “Quentin and Natasha are very pleasant, thoughtful, attentive owners. The Cottage had everything we needed with a well appointed kitchen, a wonderful shower, very tasty water that that they collect and condition on site, plus a wood burner with all the fuel you could need. There’s a sense things are done with the environment in mind. The grounds of the main house can be enjoyed by cottage visitors and there’s a lake and a small woodland to explore, with horses in an adjoining paddock and chickens providing fresh eggs. The decoration has a confident, sophistication but is not overstated and remains tasteful and practical. It was a perfect base to for is to explore the wider countryside and coast of the Cardigan Bay area. In fact St David’s and Aberystwyth all around an hour a way were very easy to get to on the scenic coastal road. Loved this charming place can’t wait to return in future."
